First Look: Primary Arms PLxC 1-8x24mm With ACSS NOVA Reticle

Primary Arms Optics has just added new model into its popular line of PLxC LPVO (low-power variable optic) riflescopes with the launch of the new Primary Arms Optics PLxC 1-8×24 mm LPVO that uses Primary Arms’ signature ACSS NOVA with Fiber Wire illumination. This latest model is calibrated for the ballistics and trajectories of common 5.56 NATO and .308 Win. cartridges.

In its optics product line, Primary Arms offers a wide selection of magnified, red-dot and prismatic optics across different models and feature sets. When it comes to LPVOs, the PLxC line is Primary Arms Optics’ premium selection with riflescopes made in Japan built with high-end Japanese ED optical glass and other quality components. The original version of the PLxC was set up as a first-focal-plane optic with an illuminated reticle that worked but was not as bright as it could be. The common feedback from end-users and reviewers was that they sought out an optic with a brighter reticle and as a result, Primary Arms Optics began implementing its daylight-bright, second-focal-plane Fiber Wire illumination system into the PLxC series. The result are new additions like the PLxC ACSS NOVA.

In addition to their high quality and craftsmanship, PLxC LPVOs are amongst the lightest and most compact 8X magnification optics currently on the market.

“By combining a high-efficiency fiber wire system with BDC holds and auto-ranging features, this new reticle offers a tremendous advantage in both speed and precision,” said Scott Tirman, vice president of optics at Primary Arms. “For those seeking true cutting-edge performance from an LPVO, this scope will be a compelling option that can compete with the very best.”
