by Braxton Taylor

SIG Sauer has just launched the Foxtrot series of tactical lights, which have been released in hand-held, pistol mounted and rifle/long gun mounted sizes. Inside of these three categories there are eight different individual models: three handheld, three pistol-mounted and two long gun models. The models are:

  • Foxtrot MSR full-size light
  • Foxtrot MSR compact light
  • Forxtrot2R light
  • Foxtrot1X light
  • Foxtrot365XR light
  • Foxtrot EDC full-size light
  • Foxtrot EDC compact light
  • Foxtrot EDC Rose light

SIG Sauer Foxtrot MSR:

Consisting of a compact and a full-size option, SIG Sauer MSR long gun lights run off either rechargeable 18650 (full size) or 18350 (compact) batteries. These lights are housed in a 6061 T6 aluminum housing with the “scout” mounting pattern popularized by Surefire and adopted by the industry. To this end, the Foxtrot MSR series features a remote tape switch with a Surefire-pattern-compatible plug. In addition to this, these long gun lights have an integrated push-button activation mode with momentary and latching modes.

SIG Sauer Foxtrot EDC:

Available in full-size and compact (standard and Rose) configurations, each Foxtrot-EDC model has an output of 1,350 lumens and 33,000 candela for ample throw and power in low light conditions.  All lights come with a powerful rechargeable Lithium-ion battery (Full-Size: 18650, Compact: 18350) and two interchangeable tail caps. The Foxtrot-EDC is optimized for personal and professional use, fitting comfortably in a pocket or affixed to a vest.

SIG Sauer Foxtrot Handgun Mounted Lights:

The three different SIG Sauer Foxtrot handgun mounted models are available for the SIG Sauer P365 series, the SIG Sauer P320 series or any pistol with a standard Picatinny rail/M1913 dust cover. The SIG Sauer Foxtrot365XR integrates to the rail, grip and frame of the SIG Sauer P365 pistol. The output range between these three models varies from 450 lumens (Foxtrot1X), 550 lumens (Foxtrot365XR) and 700 lumens (Foxtrot2R).
