From turkey and stuffing to Black Friday sales, Thanksgiving is probably the most beloved holiday on the American calendar.
For most civilians, the day changes little year to year: traditions are observed, food devoured, and family visited – often uncomfortably. But for deployed service members, Thanksgiving can look very different from celebrations at home.
That’s why we want to hear your personal stories about Thanksgiving while deployed. We’re interested in your hilarious anecdotes, emotional stories and unique moments that you’ve experienced while abroad in service to our country.
Tell us: What’s your most memorable deployment Thanksgiving story? Share your Thanksgiving memory using the form below, and we might publish it in a follow-up article sharing insights from the Military.com community.
Your personal information will not be shared, and your responses will only be used for editorial purposes.
