What We Did
We made the process of requesting a shipment of your ammo a lot easier and more streamlined. Now you can easily see how much ammo you need to ship in order to qualify for free shipping, and you will also be shown how many boxes of ammo that equates to. The payment process for requesting a shipment also got some attention. Now instead of treating ammo round-ups and shipping charges as separate transactions and billing you separately for each, your payment method will only be charged once.
Why We Did It
We noticed that some AmmoSquared members don’t have a good sense of their progress toward hitting the free shipping threshold. We wanted to put the concept of free shipping front and center during the shipment request process, so everyone can take advantage of this great benefit of being an AmmoSquared member. As for seeing how many boxes of ammo you’ll get in your shipment, some people think in terms of boxes of ammo and not a straight number of rounds, so this update makes that easy to see. The final part of the process—where you confirm your shipment—is the natural place to let you pay for any ammo round-ups in combination with any shipping charges, so we did away with having folks pay for round-ups and shipping charges separately.
How to Use It
This one is easy—you get to it the same way as before! Just tap the “Ship Ammo” button at the top to request a shipment of ammo and enjoy the streamlined process.
