Updates to AmmoSquared .com – October 2024

At AmmoSquared, we use technology to enable our innovative approach to buying, storing, and shipping ammunition. Ammunition innovation—that’s the core focus of what we do.

Of course, we don’t manufacture ammo and we never will. However, where AmmoSquared comes in is finding new ways to enhance your life with respect to ammo. Right now that means buying, storing, and shipping it, helping you stockpile on autopilot. We are always refining that, and thinking up new innovative ideas that we hope you’ll love. And, we’re committed to keeping you updated along the way.

If you saw my blog post last month, you know that we kicked off a new monthly email series to let you know about all the recent technology improvements to AmmoSquared.com. We’ve been busy during October, working on improvements to our Help button, how you manage any apparel or swag you’ve purchased, and some miscellaneous performance improvements that make things a bit more snappy. Check out the improvements below, and be sure to leave any comments you want us to hear.


Performance Improvements to AmmoSquared.com

What We Did

We made some under-the-hood improvements to AmmoSquared.com. When you click on something, it loads around 25% faster than before.

  1. Click on something at AmmoSquared.com.
  2. It is faster than before.

A More Helpful Help Button

What We Did

You may have noticed the blue Help button in the lower-right corner of AmmoSquared.com. We updated the button so that when you type in your question, it will intelligently look through our Support Portal and suggest the most relevant help article. It also provides a quick way to start a live chat with our wonderful Customer Service department, just in case the suggested articles aren’t what you need.

Why We Did It

We wanted to make it easier for you to get answers to any questions you might have. Whether those questions are regarding how to use AmmoSquared.com, or about any other aspect of the AmmoSquared service, we (and the button) are here to help.

How to Use It

  1. Hit the Help button found in the bottom-right corner of AmmoSquared.com.
  2. Type your question and hit the ENTER key.
  3. A list of relevant help articles will appear. Click on the one that looks right to you.
  4. If none of them look right, hit the Get in touch button to start a live chat with Customer Service.

An Easier Way to Manage Your Apparel & Swag

What We Did

First, some background. If you haven’t discovered it already, AmmoSquared has some very cool logo’d t-shirts and other items (like our custom “DON’T TREAD ON MY AMMO” ammo cans) available to buy. When you buy any of these items, we store them for you in our warehouse, and then send them to you later with your next ammo shipment. What we did is make it easy for you to see what items you’ve purchased that will go out with your next ammo shipment. You can even ship these items alone without your ammo if you want.

Why We Did It

We wanted to give you a better way to know what items you’ve purchased in the past and what items you’ll be getting in your next ammo shipment.

How to Use It

  1. To buy apparel and swag, go to Apparel & Swag.
  2. To see what items your previously purchased and/or shipped, go to Ammo Accounts.
  3. Look for a new box below your ammo accounts called Your Apparel & Swag.
  4. Hit View Details to see more info about your items. This is also where you can ship or return your items.
