First Look: Franchi Carbine Elite

For 2025, Franchi Firearms is launching another model in the Momentum bolt-action rifle product line. The new Franchi Momentum Carbine Elite was created for outdoorsmen seeking maneuverability, mobility and agility when chasing quarry through technical terrain and working around thick brush, timbers or stands.

The Momentum Carbine Elite uses the proven manually-operated, single-piece action inspired by the Remington 700 pattern with three locking lugs, a fluted bolt body and a shorter 60-degree bolt throw. In addition to this, the rifles also employ shorter 18- or 20-inch light contour barrels. Momentum Carbine Elite barrels are threaded and come installed with a factory-standard, radial muzzle brake. These barreled actions are mated to a Franchi Evolved Ergonom X synthetic stock that is optimized to be light and agile for use in the field. Regardless of chambering or barrel length, all Ergonom-X synthetic stocks feature the Franchi-exclusive Terra camouflage pattern which is suitable in a wide variety of outdoor environments. To match the Terra pattern, the barreled action is finished with a cobalt colored Cerakote finish
