SIG Sauer has just added more options to the Cross Sawtooth bolt-action product line with two new short-action and one new long-action rifle options chambered for 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Win. and .300 Win. Mag. respectively. These new rifles were designed in collaboration with Proof Research, a company known for making high-end, highly accurate and lightweight rifle barrels.
SIG Sauer Cross Sawtooth rifles are lightweight, backcountry bolt-action rifles built around a minimalistic chassis and a sub-MOA barreled action. Every rifle includes its own confirmation target from the factory. The lightweight chassis also includes a precision-style adjustable stock and a free-floating M-Lok and ARCA compatible handguard. The 6.5 Creedmoor bolt-action rifle will be offered with either an 18-inch or 24-inch Proof Research carbon-fiber barrel. The .308 Win. model will be standard with a 16-inch barrel from Proof Research. Additional standard features found across all models include an ultra-light, folding adjustable stock, lightweight free-floating M-Lok alloy fore-end with dual slings points and a Cerakote Moss finish. All models come furnished with a two-stage adjustable match trigger and a stainless-steel heavy profile radial brake for reducing felt recoil.
