First Look: New Thermal Optics From Pard

by Braxton Taylor

Pard Optics manufactures digital thermal and night vision scopes, and is now releasing its most technically advanced line of thermal scopes to date, the Ocelot and the Pantera lines. This 480×360/20mK line of thermal scopes is not currently offered by any other brand in the industry. The Pantera series features a NETD≤20mK sensor, detecting temperature differences as low as .02 degrees Celsius, making it highly effective for discerning subtle heat signatures and providing clear thermal images. The Ocelot series features a high-resolution sensor with a resolution of 640×512(or 480×360) that is coupled with cutting-edge uncooled Vox technology, ensuring clear visibility and abundant target details.

PARD will also be upgrading the current line of SA and TS 640×480/25mK scope models to the new Ocelot and Pantera 640×512/20mK scope versions. These Ocelot and Pantera scopes will carry a price tag that is significantly lower than the current 640×480 SA & TS scope models, with even higher technical specifications for the consumer.
