Stoeger Industries has added another model to its pump-action shotgun lineup with the new Stoeger P3000 Tactical, a 12-gauge pump-action tactical shotgun designed for home defense and security. The new Stoeger P3000 Tactical is based on Stoeger’s proven P3000 platform, and like the originals, the new P3000 Tactical is also practical and affordable.
The biggest changes to the new Stoeger P3000 Tactical shotgun is the new furniture set that Stoeger is debuting across many of its newer 2025 tactical shotguns. The polymer-based stock and handguard combines elements of traditional fixed-stock and pistol-grip-style configurations. Besides the new contour, the buttstock also includes both QD swivel studs and M-Lok mounting points for sling use. Because the P3000 Tactical is optics-ready, its stock also has a raised comb to facilitate shooting with optics. Shooters are also not limited only to using the Picatinny rail to mount optics. The top of this shotgun’s receiver is also milled out to accept optics plates for both Trijicon RMR- and Shield Sights RMSc-footprint-pattern red-dot sights.
As a tactical shotgun, the Stoeger P3000 Tactical handles both 2¾-inch and 3-inch shotshells. From the factory, its tubular magazine can hold four shells, and its bottom loading port is expanded and beveled to make reloading easier.
