Beretta Holding has acquired 1,250,100 shares of Ruger common stock for roughly $46 million, nearly 7.8 percent of the firm’s outstanding shares. The Securities and Exchange Commission filing states the current move is an effort to increase strategic collaboration between the legendary gunmakers. When the news was disclosed it quickly boosted the price of Ruger shares by 6.3 percent.
