With the recent public announcement of the new Gen6 Glock pistols during the early part of December 2025, Safariland has also been developing holster fits across its various product lines to accommodate these new handguns.

The Gen6 update combines Glock’s tradition of reliability and safety with compelling ergonomic upgrades, and Safariland is ready now with a full line of holsters for duty and everyday carry.”
Glock Gen6-compatible Safariland holster models include the Ballast, SafariValut, Solis and 6000 series holsters. Each of these products has SKUs to specifically fit the three release models of the Gen6 Glock including the new Glock G17, G19 and G45. Furthermore, on the concealment side, Safariland will also accommodate these guns with corresponding Incog-X, Schema, Species and Gravity holsters as well.
The Gen6 design represents an evolution of the Glock handgun platform, prioritizing user performance and ergonomics while maintaining Glock’s reliability. These new guns count on upgraded slides with a new optics mounting system, an upgraded frame, a new grip texture, a new flat trigger and other small details. At launch, the Austrian company is offering the previously mentioned three standard models, the G17, G19 and G45. Glock Gen6 pistols will be available in stores January 20th, 2026.
