Destiny 2‘s Monument of Triumph update is the gift that keeps on giving, and this week there is a new armor set that is very easily farmable, but it can’t exactly be done solo. One of the perks of Destiny 2‘s Monuments of Triumph update is that players don’t have to fear massive nerfs or changes to their gear anymore, which means that what is good now will be good for as long as the servers are online. Obviously, the main issue with this is that the game will no longer receive content updates and even patches.

Bungie recently confirmed that the next hotfix for Destiny 2 will be its last, and after that, the game will enter full end-of-service. This comes after the layoffs at the company that impacted at least 292 roles in the studio alone, and then more across SIE and contractor jobs. Still, fans continue with their petition, asking Bungie and Sony to reconsider this, and now Destiny 2 players are planning another server slam on Bungie Day, July 7. Even if nothing comes out of it, the game at least is in a good state and has plenty of new content.

Destiny 2’s Best Monument of Triumph Armor Set is Farmable This Week

Destiny 2‘s new Vault of Glass armor set, called Atheon’s Memory, is easily farmable for a week — from June 30 to July 7— but it requires players to run a Raid. While Destiny 2‘s new Monument of Triumph armor sets are a great addition to the game, fans looking for specific ones may have a hard time unless the endgame content they are playing is featured. This is because featured Raids and Dungeons repeatedly drop Tier 5 armor sets, and they are necessary to get the highest stats possible and stat tuning. This week has Vault of Glass as a featured Raid, so the Atheon’s Memory armor pieces will all be T5.

  • 2-Piece Bonus: Radiolaria Breach (Atheon’s Memory set) — After picking up an Orb of Power, the next time your shields are broken, gain a bonus to Health stat for a short duration and release a burst of radiolaria around you.
  • 4-Piece Bonus: Collective Power (Atheon’s Memory set) — While you have a subclass buff, dealing sustained damage creates an Orb of Power.

There are two main ways to go about this. The first is to repeatedly farm easier encounters to get Spoils of Conquest in Destiny 2 alongside some gear, be it weapons or armor, and then spend Spoils of Conquest at the end of the Raid by getting an Atheon checkpoint. This is the fastest way to get the armor set and specific pieces one might need, but it does require at least one Atheon completion to get access to the Spoils of Conquest spending chest. The second method is simply to run Vault of Glass properly multiple times, but it requires a dedicated Fireteam and quite some time.
